Eternal Flame "Divine New Thought" for a New Perspective on Spirituality

We are Spiritual Beings having a human experience. New Thought, Divine Science, Metaphysics are tools for today to live a life focused on love and light. In a non-dogmatic way, I believe that one of our greatest metaphysicians in history was and still is Jesus Christ. We can read, recall and reflect on His examples of manifesting, attracting, and demonstrating that which is ours by Divine Right.

Many of us know that scripture and other books can be edifying and inspirational sources of fulfillment. But movies such as Avatar, The Matrix, The Secret, What the Bleep Do we Know, find ways into our daily discussions and deeper consciousness. Personalities like Oprah, Deepak Chopra, Malinda Cramer (1800), Emmet Fox, Joseph Murphy, Ernest Holmes and current guru Dr. Wayne Dyer are just a few of the great people who have shared the wisdom infused into their spiritual essence before joining us on earth and enlightening us with TRUTH.

When it comes to times of trial and tested faith, the infamous question is “Why is this happening to me?” The answer is simple even if you do not believe it: your subconscious mind takes your command and what you conceive and believe, it will achieve. Every word, thought and action creates your world at each step of the day. So if you always respond to questions by saying “I don’t know,” then others will make decisions for you, hence creating human drama.

Jesus Christ in scripture reminds us "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened." Matthew 7:7-8 "…According to your faith be it done unto you." Matthew 9:29. On what and to where do you focus your conscious and subconscious faith and thoughts? Is it on fear, lack, anger, hatred, resentment and poverty? Or is it love, joy, prosperity, and being worthy of the very best? You are a co-creator with God, and you are attracting, demonstrating and manifesting exactly what you have asked for, paths you have sought out, and doors you have knocked on. Welcome to HEAVEN ON EARTH!

The Center for Practical Spirituality, which Rev. Katrina pastors, holds services on Sundays at 9am at River City Living Church, 202 Holland Ave. There is a pre-service meditation in the church garden at 8:30 am. All are welcome.
